History of the Club

The High Park Demons (formally known as the Mississauga Mustangs) are one of the founding clubs of the OAFL, having entered the league in 1989 along with the Toronto Panthers (now the Toronto Eagles). The team has a rich history of playing hard and having fun, with a Premiership year in 1994. The club changed names to the Mississauga Demons (to better reflect the teams colours), and then, in 2002, the club moved locations from Mississauga to Toronto (High Park), to better accommodate the players and ex-pats that played for the team. The Demons are proud to be sponsored by Whelan’s Gate pub and currently practice in High Park and Humberside C.I.
