History of the Club
The club was started in 2003 to fill the football void in the western suburb of Etobicoke. Australian Football had been played at the established football grounds there for 15 years. In our 1st season we made the Grand Final which is unheard of for a first year club, since that time we have missed the finals once. We have appeared in 3 Grand Finals with a premiership coming in 2008. The Etobicoke Kangaroos A.F.C club prides itself on working hard to provide the Canadian players with a high skill level to be able to play the game at the highest standard. One of the reasons why we have produced 10 Team Canada players since 2004. We also work very hard to make our visiting Australian players feel welcomed and provide a team environment that is very similar that of clubs back in Australia. If you live in the Western suburbs of Toronto please consider playing for our club.
